In October 2001 we went with our bikes to our caravan in Sauerland. We were extremely lucky, while the weather was great ! 20 to 25˚C and even warmer in the sun. So you can imagine we went riding every day. Although I think Sauerland is great (on my Yamaha), Ilke prefers the Eifel. More curving roads (and that's more exhilarating on a Ducati).              We found the roads in bad condition which is a pity really, because the scenery is fantastic. If you go the Sauerland site you can even get a free brochure.                                                                                                                                   We took trips from our base-camp and went to Warstein, Olpe, Kassel (to visit the Louis-shop over there), Brilon, etc.
